No formal vote or motion to approve the contract was recorded at the meeting.
Attendance recorded at the meeting included First Selectman Glenn S. Pianka; Selectmen Tarasevich and Ballinger; Fire Department leadership, including Chief Sholes and Deputy Chief Combs; Board of Finance Chair O’Connor; and one member of the public, R. Barber.
The board moved to adjourn at 5:46 PM; Selectman Tarasevich made the motion, Selectman Ballinger seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The contract remains in draft form pending the language clarification and decisions tied to the FY 26/27 budget, and the board indicated additional meetings will be scheduled to complete negotiation and review.
