Berwyn South SD 100 board honors assistant superintendent Bea and welcomes two new assistant principals

The superintendent described Bea as a "calming presence" who "led with humility, perseverance, compassion, and integrity," and board members offered personal reflections and gratitude for her leadership. "We are grateful for you. We are proud of you. We will miss you," one member said. The superintendent noted Bea is moving on to a superintendent role in District 132.
The board also announced the approval of two personnel moves: Maggie Ramirez was approved as assistant principal at Freedom Middle School and Colleen Humphreys was approved as assistant principal at Pershing Elementary School; both were introduced but not present for public remarks.
Board members closed the meeting with additional thanks and best wishes to Bea before moving on to routine adjournment procedures.
