He also reported that recent legislation added $40 million in funding statewide for FY25 and that Sterling’s projected reimbursement from that action is $389,000.
Board members approved the budget on a motion by Jennifer Mossner, seconded by Victoria Robinson-Lewis, with the board agreeing to move the budget to the Board of Finance with one contingency: the business office may adjust tuition estimates based on high school acceptances or revenue changes but may not exceed a 2.06% overall increase.
Chair Courtney Langlois announced the presentation to the Board of Finance is scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The board did not record further public debate on the floor; the motion passed unanimously.
