Sterling Board approves consent agenda and budget report; business manager flags repair and tuition costs

Victoria Robinson-Lewis moved approval and John Brady seconded; the motion passed unanimously with five votes in favor.
Business Manager Sara Howley presented the Budget and Expense Report and told the Board she will continue to watch the Maintenance Repair Costs and the High School Tuition Costs lines. Howley also said the Town Treasurer is working to schedule the district’s annual audit. The Board approved the Budget and Expense Report by motion (moved by Victoria Robinson-Lewis, seconded by Jennifer Mossner); vote recorded as all in favor (5–0).
The consent agenda and budget approvals were routine votes recorded early in the meeting. The Board did not discuss specific line-item transfers during this meeting; Howley’s remarks indicate administration will monitor the two cost centers and report back as needed.
