Howe Park project receives $11,000 from Boone County; engineers to seek bids

Councilman Aaron Crane updated the Ogden City Council on progress for the Howe Park project at the May 12 meeting. Crane said that he, Councilwoman Lori Anderson and City Administrator Emily Clausen attended a Boone County Supervisors meeting and the county awarded $11,000 toward the project.
Crane said the project has received letters of support and that engineers will soon solicit bids for construction work. Councilwoman Anderson asked that a city-owned lot be added to the mowing list during member comments.
The minutes record the grant amount and the plan to move forward with engineering and bidding; the council did not take additional formal action on the park project during the meeting.
