The Olds City Council approved Resolution 2025-08 at its Nov. 12 meeting to implement a depository change associated with the city clerk. Councilmember Sheila Tharp moved the resolution; Councilmember Theresa Willey seconded and the motion passed 5–0.
Council also approved a motion to purchase a printer from Beverly Conrad for $50 and authorized the city clerk to purchase a filing cabinet not to exceed $300. Separately, the council approved renewals on a certificate of deposit: the clerk reported a motion (Tharp moved, Waterhouse seconded) to renew a CD at PGSB for 11 months at 3.85%, which passed 5–0.
Those motions were recorded as routine administrative actions in the minutes; no additional staffing or budgetary details beyond the authorized purchase limits were included.
