Selectman Jack Joslyn told the meeting he researched the letters and confirmed they appeared to be fake/spam. Joslyn specifically referenced two purported property offers — a 3.326‑acre lot at 10 Main Street and a 7.68‑acre lot on Industrial Park Road — and advised residents to treat such unsolicited correspondence with caution.
The board did not take formal action on the NDDH proposal at the Feb. 4 meeting, nor did it vote on correspondence handling beyond confirming the letters were not legitimate.
