Sterling selectmen approve $7,500 repair quote and $138,783.35 in monthly invoices

Selectman Patricia Massey moved to approve the $7,500 quote from Mark Finley Jr. for installation of a drop/suspended ceiling and removal and replacement of electrical fixtures; Ronald Whitcomb seconded and the motion carried 3-0. Massey requested an itemized bill be provided before payment processing. Later in the meeting the board approved monthly invoices totaling $138,783.35 by the same 3-0 vote.
Both votes were routine approvals recorded on the meeting agenda. The motions did not include amendments or recorded individual roll-call votes beyond the 3-0 tally. The board also reviewed the Treasurer’s report during the meeting.
The approvals will proceed to the Board of Finance (for the repair quote) and to usual accounts-payable procedures for invoice payment.
