Trustees also discussed a governance change: the library approved its own bylaws on Jan. 29, 2026, and voted to request a warrant article for Town Meeting to amend the town personnel bylaw so that library employees would be covered under the library's bylaws instead. Pitcher moved to approve the draft warrant and Lisa Sheridan seconded; the motion passed with the board recorded as unanimous.
