At the Lincoln County budget review on 2026-06-29, the district court clerk told board members that supply expenses increased slightly after acquiring a new copier but that she has managed the office within budget by transferring surplus into fixed lines.
The clerk said most jury-related expenses are reimbursed by the state. "I get reimbursed about 90% of that back to the county," the Clerk of Court said, adding that the remaining costs are largely postage for jury questionnaires and mailings. She estimated roughly $5,000 of jury-mailing costs are not reimbursed and will remain a county expense.
Board members had no further questions and asked that wages and employer-contribution figures be entered later so the clerk's totals can be finalized. No formal action or vote occurred during this agenda item.
