The Milo City Council approved several routine and specific actions during its March 2 meeting, passing the agenda and consent agenda, authorizing a $10,000 reimbursable grant payout to the Milo American Legion, and approving a portable building permit at 218 Chestnut.
Councilmember Mason moved and Councilmember Amsden seconded approval of the meeting agenda; the motion passed. The consent agenda that followed included accounts payable totaling $37,018.44 for Feb. 17March 2, 2026, meeting minutes from Feb. 16, 2026, and January utility billing reconciliations; that motion (moved by Amsden, seconded by Mason) also passed with Amsden, Rasmussen, Griggs and Mason voting aye (Rodgers absent).
On new business, Councilmember Griggs moved approval of Resolution 2026-09 authorizing the receipt documentation and payout of a $10,000 reimbursable grant to the Milo American Legion; Councilmember Amsden seconded and the motion passed with the same four affirmative votes. Councilmember Griggs also moved, and Councilmember Mason seconded, approval of a portable building permit for 218 Chestnut; that motion passed. The meeting concluded with a motion by Griggs and second by Mason to adjourn at 8:08 p.m.
