The council directed the city clerk to make the necessary legal filings and public notices required for the hearing.
The public hearing is the formal opportunity for residents to review the proposed budget and deliver comment before the council considers final adoption. The council scheduled the next regular meeting for April 20 at 7:00 p.m., when the hearing will occur.
