The council also voted to approve a consent agenda that included $22,091.72 in accounts payable for April 7–20, 2026; all meeting minutes from April 6, 2026; March 2026 financial reconciliation reports (city checking, endowment checking and certificates of deposit); the utility billing reconciliation and treasurer’s report; the March 2026 Warren County Sheriff’s report; and information about a Small Town Downtown event. Resolution 2026-12, to reinvest certificates of deposit, was part of the consent package.
Councilmembers voting in favor of the budget and consent items were Amsden, Griggs, Mason and Rodgers. Councilmember Rasmussen was absent. No public comments were received during the hearing.
The council’s approval finalizes the city’s spending plan for the coming fiscal year and authorizes the clerk to complete required filings with county and state offices. The resolution to reinvest certificates of deposit will be carried forward as recorded in the consent documents.
