The Missouri Valley City Council approved change order PCO-006-2 to install a gear dryer in the Fire Station apparatus bay during its Feb. 24 special meeting. The motion to approve the change order was made by Councilmember Struble and seconded by Councilmember Tuttle; roll call votes were recorded as ayes by those present.
Separately, Mayor Roger Marshall raised for the council’s attention that the Fire Station Addition project is approximately 120 days past its scheduled completion and suggested the council consider pursuing liquidated damages. Councilmember Gilpin earlier asked about the punch list for the fire bay, and William Huey said he was waiting on an individual named Rogge to provide outstanding documents needed for project closeout.
