The Missouri Valley City Council voted Feb. 24 to award the Rose Hill Cemetery mowing contract to Cunard Outdoor Service for $20,000. Bids opened at the special meeting showed BW Services at $18,500, Cunard Outdoor Service at $20,000, CJ’s Future at $32,000 and Bonham Lawn Care at $34,000. Councilmember Struble moved to accept the Cunard bid; Councilmember Keizer seconded and roll call votes from Tuttle, Keizer, Struble and Gilpin were recorded as ayes.
The vote completes procurement for the 2026 mowing season at Rose Hill Cemetery. The council did not record other contract terms, such as contract length or start date, during the meeting. Any contractor obligations or start schedule were not specified at the meeting and will be addressed in the contract documents.
