The Hazle Township Planning Board voted to accept as a complete application the Butler 260 Building 6 preliminary/final land development at its April 21 meeting, clearing the project to proceed through technical review.
Representatives for the applicant described the proposal as a new 1,182,720‑square‑foot industrial facility on Lot 3 with a possible future 322,560‑square‑foot expansion. The application package identified available utilities (UGI natural gas; PPL electric) and noted coordination with the municipal authority, PennDOT traffic reviews and other outside agencies. Fred Eagan of Northpoint attended and stated the team was present for acceptance of the submission.
Township staff and engineering reviewers recorded outstanding technical items and agency clearances that remain to be addressed during subsequent reviews; the transcript records interactions about Act 537 sewage‑planning exemptions and required highway occupancy permits for major access. The board accepted the completeness submission by motion (Terry Daley moved, John Synoski seconded) and recorded the roll call as approved.
