Shelby council approves multiple housing developments, OKs amendment to Hometown Homes agreement

The motion to approve Sommerville’s development was moved by Pat Honeywell and seconded by Todd Frank; roll call: all ayes.
Separately, the council approved Wes Zimmerman’s proposal to develop seven lots at The Meadows with similar contractual changes. That motion was moved by Todd Frank and seconded by Pat Honeywell; roll call: all ayes.
The council also approved an amended housing agreement for Hometown Homes presented by Angela Fritz. The amendment included a lot change and a $4,000 reimbursement for a grinder pump. The vote on the Hometown Homes amendment was recorded as Hursey-Yes, Honeywell-Yes, Frank-No, True-Yes; the motion carried.
The council indicated it will review final versions of the development agreements after the specified contract edits are made. No public comments on these items are recorded in the meeting minutes.
