Board President Rich Bshara told members the district will not finalize spending plans until it receives definitive information on Special Education reimbursement. School Business Administrator Mr. Marriott said the audit is complete and the district expects a final Excess Cost payment of $434,000, and he reviewed grants, food service items and closing procedures for the 2024–25 fiscal year.
Members discussed an increase in Alliance funds and cautioned that those funds carry spending restrictions. The board plans a Finance meeting shortly after July 4 to continue work on the budget and to refine numbers once the state reimbursement figures are available.
No formal budget adoption or line‑item votes were recorded at the meeting; the board noted the need to return to the item when more information is received.
