Village of Sanford Planning Commission reviews zoning ordinance pages and discusses sewer survey; approves minutes

At a July 8, 2025 meeting, the Village of Sanford Planning Commission reviewed pages 39–59 of the Building Zoning Ordinances and discussed the city sewer survey. The commission approved the minutes from its June 3, 2025 meeting and adjourned at 7:00 p.m.

The commission called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m., recited the Pledge of Allegiance and recorded attendance: Taylor Meyette, Carl Hamann, Denise Drake, Justin Laplow and Marlene Glinski. There were no public comments and no new business listed on the agenda.

On a motion from Commissioner Carl Hamann, seconded by Commissioner Marlene Glinski, the commission approved the minutes from June 3, 2025. The minutes do not record a roll-call vote tally. Later, the meeting was adjourned on a motion from Commissioner Justin Laplow, seconded by Commissioner Carl Hamann.

Under old business the commission reviewed the Building Zoning Ordinances covering pages 39 through 59. The minutes state the ordinances were discussed but do not attribute specific comments to individual commissioners or record proposed amendments.

Commissioners also discussed the city sewer survey. The minutes record a recommendation to examine previous sewer surveys and to consider new sewer technologies as part of that review. The record frames this as a suggestion for further study rather than a formal directive or action.
