The York Board of Education at its Dec. 8 meeting excused the absences of Brien Alley and Alison North and approved routine business including prior minutes and payment of bills by unanimous roll-call votes among members present.
Matt Holthe moved to excuse the absences of Brien Alley and Alison North; Alex Hildebrand seconded and the motion passed with yes votes from Alex Hildebrand, Brian Tonniges, Matt Holthe and Pepper Papineau. Brian Tonniges moved to approve the Nov. 10, 2025 minutes as presented; Matt Holthe seconded and the minutes were approved by the same recorded vote. Later the board voted to approve bills and direct checks be drawn for payment; Brian Tonniges moved, Matt Holthe seconded, and the motion passed 4-0.
