The Rushford Village City Council opened its Nov. 4 meeting at 7:00 p.m. and completed routine business before adjourning at 7:34 p.m.
Mayor Dennis Overland called the meeting to order and the council approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from the Oct. 21 Ben Bernard Solar Array public hearing and regular meeting (motions and seconds recorded in the minutes; carried). Clerk Mary Miner presented October financials showing $37,704.03 in expenses, $40,034.91 in receipts and a bank balance of $191,292.25; the council approved the financial report (motion by Hart, 2nd Ebner; carried).
Council approved a motion permitting Public Works Supervisor Darrin Dessner to travel to Mason City to take a Class A road test (motion by Hart, 2nd Ruberg; carried). The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 7:34 p.m. (motion by Hart, 2nd Link; carried). The council noted upcoming events including the Truth in Taxation meeting Dec. 2 and the final budget adoption scheduled for Dec. 16.
