Selectboard approves $30,000 scope for library feasibility study, signs multiple committee appointments

The Brookline Selectboard on March 31 accepted a draft library feasibility study and approved multiple committee appointments.
Members reviewed a proposed seven-member study group and a $30,000 scoping budget; Brian Rater moved to accept the draft and the motion passed unanimously. The board asked for a final document from Cindy LaCroix to sign at the next meeting.
The board also signed and voted to accept appointment forms for several committees: Gerald Roche to NRPC, Scott Leard to SRLD, Drew Kellner, Jay Chrystal and Sean McNair to the Conservation Commission, and Lisa Proulx to the town’s 250th Celebration Committee. The board agreed to re-notice two DTWG at-large positions (James Manion and John Pacinich) and to post two at-large openings for the Energy Committee through 2026.
The board directed department heads to appoint committee members where requested and assigned staff to prepare and publish related notices.
