The Brookline Selectboard opened a public hearing on April 14 on the proposed donation of a 54-acre parcel (lot D-50-2) associated with Brookline Woods, with Michele Decoteau presenting parcel details and inviting public suggestions for future use.
No members of the public spoke during the hearing and the board closed the session at 7:02 p.m. Decoteau told the board that the Facilities, Library and Capital Improvements committees may want to weigh in on potential uses and that residents should forward ideas ahead of a follow-up hearing.
The Selectboard scheduled a continuation of the public hearing for April 28, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Board members asked staff to post notice of the next hearing in the Telegraph and to solicit committee input in advance.
