On SNAP benefits, staff said a court had ordered the release of benefits but the county had not yet received formal state notice that benefits would be released. Locally, the county is coordinating food drives and other recipient supports and staff said they would meet later that day with state CDHS leadership regarding SNAP and Medicaid budget requests.
Staff asked commissioners if there were any specific items they wanted raised with state officials; none were added at the time of the meeting.
