The River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors on Aug. 27 adopted Resolution 2024-07, approving the fiscal year 2024/2025 budget as amended, following a public hearing at which no residents spoke. The hearing and vote took place at the River Club Conference Center in Estero and via Zoom.
District Manager Chuck Adams said the budget packet in the agenda contained errors and noted scrivener corrections were needed, including clarifying the "Street sweeping" line item. After those corrections were made, Assistant Secretary Kurt Blumenthal moved to adopt the resolution and Assistant Secretary Robert Twombly seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The resolution adopts annual appropriations for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and authorizes budget amendments as needed. No affected property owners or members of the public spoke during the hearing, and the board closed the hearing before the vote.
The board recorded the approval as a formal action to set appropriations and enable fiscal operations for the coming year. Staff will incorporate the corrected language into the final adopted budget document and post the approved budget as required.
