Pella commission names TAC volunteers as update of Comprehensive Plan advances

The Pella Planning and Zoning Commission used part of its Feb. 23 meeting for a work session on updates to the Comprehensive Plan, the Zoning Code and the Subdivision Code.
Commissioners Sarah Buchheit and Teri Vos volunteered to serve on the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). Planning and Zoning Director Gerald Buydos said the next TAC meeting will include draft reviews of the Future Land Use chapter and the Future Land Use Map.
The work session was informational; the minutes record no motions or votes related to the plan updates. The commission scheduled its next regular meeting for March 23, 2026 and adjourned at 6:27 p.m.
