The Windsor Locks Board of Education voted unanimously May 22 to adopt the district's 2024–25 Educator Evaluation Plan pending approval by the Connecticut State Department of Education.
Mr. Jeff Bernabe, who facilitated the committee with Ms. Deb Luzetti, told the board the Professional Development and Evaluation Committee worked throughout the 2023–24 school year to rewrite the plan. Bernabe presented the plan in detail and answered questions from board members. Board Member Alba Osorio moved to adopt the plan, Board Member L. Cutler seconded, and the motion passed unanimously with the condition that final approval comes from the CSDE.
Board minutes note the plan will be submitted to the CSDE for its review before it becomes fully effective for the district's evaluation cycle.
