The Township of Edison Zoning Board of Adjustment opened its June 23 meeting by approving the May 19, 2026 minutes and adopting four routine resolutions: D‑25‑2025 (Vivian Piera), D‑33‑2025 (NHDPL LC), Z‑7‑2026 (Michelle Campbell) and Z‑8‑2026 (Harish Gowda). Motions and roll‑call votes for those items were recorded on the public record and passed.
The board then conducted a remand hearing on Case Z‑53‑2019 (American Outdoor Advertising), limited by an Appellate Division order to consideration of the 'negative criteria' only. After testimony from applicant representatives and multiple nearby residents, the board moved to deny the remanded application (motion made by Vice Chair O'Gorman, seconded by Mr. Chhabra). The denial was adopted unanimously on roll call.
Other announced scheduling items included a withdrawal (KZ3 2026, Suresh Mondanka), two carried cases (KZ2 2020, Lamar Advertising and Penn LLC carried to Sept. 29, 2026; KZ31 2025, Tanuja Adiyani carried to Aug. 25, 2026) and a re‑notice requirement for KZA8 (Sacred Foundation) because it was incorrectly noticed.
