Later, after additional testimony on the penalty phase and a second executive-session reconvening, the board voted (moved by Gragnolati; seconded by Lindsay Cutler) to accept and adopt the administration's findings and to expel Student C from Windsor Locks Public Schools for one calendar year, including all school-related activities, pursuant to the administration's recommendations dated Feb. 22, 2024, as amended.
The motions to enter executive session, to find that the student committed an expellable offense, and to impose the one-year expulsion passed unanimously. The board recorded K. Christianson, D. Gragnolati, L. Cutler and G. Guyette as present; A. Osorio was absent.
