The Pawnee City Council on June 8 approved three code amendments and suspended the third reading to enact them immediately.
Council Member Susan Eisenhauer moved to approve Ordinance No. 1089 (amending City Code 2-205 to require the Zoning Administrator to report monthly at a council meeting), Ordinance No. 1090 (adding a camping section, 3-304, to Article 3 — Parks) and Ordinance No. 1091 (amending City Code 6-114 concerning dangerous dogs). Council Member Donnie Fisher seconded the motions; all votes were recorded as in favor, and the council also voted in each case to suspend the third reading and adopt the ordinances.
The action updates zoning oversight, adds a parks camping rule, and revises local dangerous-dog regulations. The minutes show no dissenting discussion on the ordinances; each passed by unanimous roll call. The ordinances will be reflected in the city code as amended.
