The Zoning Board of Appeals approved the minutes of its Jan. 6 meeting and carried out organizational elections at its Feb. 3, 2026 session.
With five members who had attended the Jan. 6 meeting present, the board voted 5–0 to approve those minutes.
In an organizational election later in the meeting, Chairman Jim Went nominated Ben to serve as chair going forward. Ben accepted the nomination with a scheduling caveat for March and April; the board then voted to elect him chair. The board also confirmed a vice chair and said that duties will be swapped to maintain continuity of meetings. Chair Went thanked remote members and expressed support for the leadership transition.
There were no recorded objections and the votes were unanimous. The board adjourned following the election.
