At its April 28 meeting the Waukesha City Ordinance & Licensing Committee approved multiple license applications, including a bartender license for Melissa Corrigan, a Class B (beer) and Class C (liquor/wine only) license for Mama Duckies, and a successor-of-agent filing for Walgreens store number 07730.
Committee members discussed Corrigan’s file in her absence, noting a single older offense and that she had held a bartender license within the last two years. One member moved to approve her application and the motion carried unanimously.
Applicant Melissa Lugo told the committee her business has been in Waukesha for about 4½ years and recently relocated; the clerk’s office representative confirmed no issues in the file and the committee approved the Class B beer and Class C liquor/wine only license unanimously.
The committee also approved a successor-of-agent application for Walgreens after confirming the new agent had completed responsible beverage server training, and it approved other administrative applications (private alarm system permits for ADT Bridal Alarm System and Interface Security Systems LLC). The chair announced these motions and each passed without recorded opposition.
Votes at a glance: Melissa Corrigan (bartender license) — approved (unanimous); Mama Duckies (Class B & Class C) — approved (unanimous); Walgreens 07730 successor-of-agent — approved (unanimous); ADT Bridal Alarm System and Interface Security Systems LLC private alarm system permits — approved (unanimous). The committee adjourned at 6:24 p.m.
