The Centerville City Council on April 6 unanimously approved its consent agenda, awarding three liquor licenses, approving a tax abatement for 801 E. Cottage and accepting the final pay application for the Washington Street Sewer Lateral Rehab project.
The consent package approved by the council included beer/liquor licenses for Wal‑Mart Store #1621, The Majestic and La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant; Resolution 2026‑4206 granting a tax abatement for the property at 801 E. Cottage (Humphrey/Logsdon); and Pay Application No. 3 (final) to Musson Bros. for the Washington Street Sewer Lateral Rehabilitation. Hoffman moved to approve the consent agenda; Creagan seconded. The roll call vote was Brauman, Creagan, Hamilton, Hoffman and Kruzic — all voting aye.
Council also approved routine bills presented at the meeting after a motion by Hamilton and a second from Brauman; the vote was unanimous. Separately, the council set public hearings on the proposed FY27 annual budget and on Proposed Budget Amendment No. 1 of the FY26 budget by approving Resolutions 2026‑4207 and 2026‑4208. Resolution 2026‑4207 was moved by Hoffman and seconded by Brauman; Resolution 2026‑4208 was moved by Hamilton and seconded by Kruzic. Both resolutions passed on unanimous roll call votes.
No dissenting votes or abstentions were recorded in the minutes for these items. The next regular council meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2026.
