Members Tim Backer and Phil Barnett participated by telephone; Brandon Kampman and Shelley Maiers were recorded as absent. Superintendent Bryan Boysen and Business Manager/Board Secretary Shellee Bartlett were present.
Board member Phil Barnett moved to approve the personnel recommendations; the motion was seconded by Tim Backer. The motion, which included the paid appointment of Karissa Oldenburger and the acceptance of Jeremy Johnson as a volunteer, "carried unanimously." The minutes record the assistant girls wrestling appointment at $2,826 (9%, step 0); the volunteer position carries no salary in the minutes.
Earlier in the meeting Tim Backer moved and Phil Barnett seconded approval of the agenda; that motion also carried unanimously. The board then moved to adjourn; Backer moved, Barnett seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 2:02 p.m. The minutes include signature lines for the board president and board secretary dated Dec. 16, 2024.
The action completes the narrow agenda of the special meeting, which was convened solely to consider the listed personnel matters and then adjourned without further business.
