Assistant Health Director Barry Lervis presented an overview of the Town of Yarmouth's Hazard Mitigation Plan on Feb. 2, saying it outlines how the town will reduce risks from flooding, storms, extreme heat and other natural hazards and supports public-health prevention and long-term community resilience.
Board members Hillard Boskey and Mary Craig said they had not previously seen the plan and requested to be included in further discussions if updates are considered. The Board did not take action at the meeting but signaled interest in participating in any future revision process.
