At its Jan. 28 meeting the Yarmouth Finance Committee voted to recommend the FY27 budgets for several Community Services divisions and recorded a separate recommendation on the Library budget after a recusal.
John Anderson moved and Robert Harding seconded a motion to recommend the FY27 budgets for Natural Resources, Senior Services, Recreation and Golf "as printed in the FY27 budget book." The committee recorded a roll-call vote of five Aye votes (Nathan Ladley, Alyssa Mullin, John Anderson, Robert Harding and Richard Simon); the motion passed 5-0.
Later the committee considered the Library budget. Robert Harding moved and John Anderson seconded a motion to recommend the Library budget as printed. The roll call recorded Nathan Ladley Aye; John Anderson Aye; Robert Harding Aye; Richard Simon Aye; Alyssa Mullin Recused. The motion passed 4-0-1.
Chair Richard Simon noted Alyssa Mullin's recusal from the Library vote before the roll call. The committee did not take other votes on capital financing at this meeting.
The committee also approved a motion to adjourn; the transcript records the meeting adjourned at 7:13 p.m. (The transcript shows an inconsistent roll-call list at adjournment that includes two members earlier marked absent; the committee's formal recorded budget votes are listed above as provided in the meeting record.)
