The Bridgton Select Board approved several routine administrative items during its meeting, including a committee appointment, municipal association nominees, a street-name request, a business license renewal and the treasurer warrants.
The board voted 5-0 to appoint Carrie Castleman Ross as a resident member of the Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Committee after she introduced herself and answered questions. The board also voted unanimously to submit Danielle Loring and Adam Garland as Bridgton’s nominees to the Main Municipal Association’s 2026–28 legislative policy committee.
On land use and local addresses, the board approved naming a new street Northstar Road after confirming there were no E-911 concerns and after consultation with fire and police. The board also approved a vehicular renewal permit for Ala Mexicana 2 at 243 Portland Road; staff explained that the annual renewal is driven by town ordinance and that applications are vetted by code, fire and police departments prior to board consideration.
Finally, the board approved warrants 113, 114, 115 and 116 following an explanation of the warrant-review process and voted to approve the June 9, 2026 minutes. Each of the listed votes passed by unanimous voice vote.
The board requested staff to circulate supporting documents — including the ordinance that governs business renewals and the E-911 road-name review notes — to the members who asked for them.
