Two LPA consulting contracts were approved for guardrail upgrades on the South and North Causeways (County Road 1200 East / St. Mary’s Road). The commission also approved three separate contracts related to vote center locations for two Saturdays and election day (county staff said budgeted funds are available).
Additionally, commissioners approved a five‑year renewal lease for the Quadient postage machine used by the clerk’s office and circuit court; the county budgeted approximately $22,000 annually for postage and the machine handles weighing and postage processing.
All items were moved, seconded and approved by voice votes during the meeting’s consent actions.
