PSC to present complex indemnification policy with Town Counsel in attendance

The Policy Subcommittee discussed its draft Indemnification Policy on June 4 and agreed the subject is sufficiently complex that the first read before the Select Board should occur when Town Counsel can attend.
Members acknowledged the policy’s technical nature and the need for counsel to be present for initial Select Board consideration. Chair Kenny Largess agreed to prepare a cover memorandum summarizing the key points of the draft for Select Board members prior to that first read.
No formal vote on the policy content occurred at the subcommittee meeting; the item will proceed to the Select Board with counsel available for questions.
