Council passes boat, ATAX measures and approves multi-parcel rezoning 7–4; no final action on housing subsidy
Summary

Ordinances - Ordinance 2025/51 (amendments to the waterways chapter on abandoned and derelict boats): council reported the item passed unanimously after public hearing and committee consideration. - Ordinance 2025/52 (recommendation and approval of 2% state accommodations tax awards as presented by the ATAX committee): council closed the public hearing and approved the awards as presented.
Rezoning - Council voted on a grouped rezoning for properties purchased through the Rural and Critical Lands Program to reclassify them as T-1 (Nature Preserve). After discussion about compatibility and the potential for future swaps, council adopted findings supporting consistency with the comprehensive plan and approved the rezoning on a roll-call vote of 7–4.
