Eric Helmuth read the proclamation noting Breadboard’s Broadway storefront, use of locally milled flour and prior contest success in 2024. Daisy Chow and her business collaborator Josh Glazer attended the meeting and were thanked by board members for representing Arlington.
Board Chair John Hurd and members praised the bakery’s craft and local contributions. Helmuth read that the bakery’s entry of sourdough boules secured first place in the professional category; the board’s proclamation “congratulates Daisy Chow and her team at Breadboard Bakery for this latest honor” and wishes the business continued success.
After the reading, Select Board members moved and seconded approval; the vote was recorded as unanimous. The proclamation is intended as a civic recognition and does not change permitting or regulatory status.
