Carroll County commissioners unanimously approved routine financial matters and awarded a bid for farm-building removal at their June 15 meeting.
The board approved payroll for June 12, 2026 totaling $352,452.10 and accounts payable of $1,006,693.21 (motion Parker/Chandler, vote 3-0). Commissioners then awarded the farm-building removal contract to Cobalt Construction for $51,975 to include asbestos remediation; the project budget was listed at $52,000. The award motion was recorded as (Chandler; second Parker) and passed 3-0.
Executive Director Mellisa Seamans reported a forthcoming Primex premium refund of approximately $30,000 and said the county is anticipating a ProShare allotment of $2,860,518, versus the $1,700,000 figure budgeted. She also reported receipt of an occupancy permit from the Town of Ossipee for a laundry facility addition.
The board recessed for a Hale’s Location Selectmen’s meeting, reconvened, entered non-public session under NH RSA 91-A:3, II (a) and (c) by roll call (Parker/Chandler, 3-0) and later voted to seal the non-public minutes because releasing them would likely have an adverse effect on the reputation of a person other than a member of the public body.
