Michael, a representative of Managed Solutions Group, told the council the package would include Microsoft 365 licensing where applicable and said the service offers enhanced email protections and training for staff. “It’ll be a big improvement on what is accessible by people that aren’t here,” Michael said, describing the vendor’s email protections and user-focused security features.
Council members asked about costs and contract length. Staff and the vendor provided a monthly cost range of about $800 to $5,000 depending on the set of services and user counts. Michael said Managed Solutions typically signs three-year agreements and noted the company waived onboarding fees for Peosta.
