Carlisle fire chief delivers annual update; council holds executive session on property and personnel

Fire Chief Jeremy Lane provided the Carlisle City Council with the Fire Department's annual update on June 24; City Manager Chris Lohr introduced the report and provided council members with a paper copy of the department's materials.
After receiving the update, council voted unanimously to enter executive session at 7:35 p.m. on a motion by William Bicknell, seconded by Michael Kilpatrick. The executive session was conducted under Ohio Revised Code 121.22(G)(2) to consider purchase or sale of property for public purposes and 121.22(G)(1) to consider personnel matters. The council returned to open session by voice vote at 8:44 p.m. and announced there was no action to follow.
The meeting adjourned at 8:44 p.m. No ordinances, resolutions or appointments were adopted during the regular portion of the meeting, and council did not take visible action following the executive session.
