Natick COA housing subcommittee flags new assisted-living facility plans, seeks staff input on COA role

Board members did not take a formal vote on a position but requested staff responses to the subcommittee’s questions so the COA can determine whether and how to engage with the developer and other town review processes. The report did not specify project developers, timelines, or exact unit counts; the subcommittee said those details are part of ongoing project review by town bodies and will be provided when available.
Separately, the subcommittee continues coordinating with Strategic Planning to fold housing objectives into the COA’s draft strategic plan, targeted for a full draft at the April meeting and plan approval by June.
