Trust plans staggered rollout for new Housing for All program and schedules outreach event

Patrick Duggan recommended a staggered rollout so the Trust would not deplete funds prematurely and could evaluate program outcomes and needs during early implementation. Sue Crossley volunteered to create a tracking document to monitor applications and results to help the Trust identify areas needing adjustment.
The Trust also discussed organizing a public event in spring or summer to promote accessory dwelling units (ADUs), including a panel of homeowners, contractors and town officials; the group suggested presenting the Kibbey Award to the Select Board at that event. The Trust noted its April 14, 2026 meeting is currently scheduled to be held in person and approved the Jan. 13, 2026 meeting minutes.
No binding policy decisions were made; staff and trustees were assigned follow-up tasks related to program tracking and public outreach.
