Board members praised the quick turnaround in staffing and the program’s importance to district employees and the community.
Administration said the daycare serves about 50 children and that the program has historically operated with low overhead, supplemented by partner contributions when necessary. The board discussed monitoring financial health and ensuring the daycare continues to recruit and retain staff.
