Sterling PZC recommends Ed Adams for appointment, reviews ZEO report and schedules regulation items

At the Feb. 9 meeting the Sterling Planning & Zoning Commission completed several administrative items. Ed Adams attended to answer the Boards & Commissions questionnaire and the Commission agreed to recommend his appointment to the Board of Selectmen.
The Commission reviewed the Zoning Enforcement Officer’s report. The minutes note excavation activity on River Road has been halted and the estate involved is in litigation; the Chair indicated he would contact the ZEO to determine whether any Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) applications have been filed. The Commission also flagged Regulation priorities and recorded that discussion of Section 4.03 and House Bill 8002 will be on the agenda for the next regular meeting.
No audience comments were recorded. The meeting adjourned at 8:48 p.m. following a motion by Commissioner John Turban, seconded by Commissioner John Angelone; motion carried 4–0.
