Commission honors two sheriff’s deputies for lifesaving actions

Sheriff Mike Fraley and Chief Shawn Johnson presented certificates to the officers. The resolution notes the deputies performed CPR for approximately 30 minutes until EMS personnel arrived to transport the patient for further treatment. Commissioners approved the resolution by electronic vote, 20–0.
The board’s resolution cites the deputies’ calm and professional response as exemplary public service. The recognition was approved by the Law Enforcement Committee on March 4 and formally adopted by the full commission on March 17.
