Sherwood Township supervisors discussed road maintenance and related services at their June 2, 2025, meeting, reporting that the township has received a county resolution for road maintenance but the county has not set a start date. Supervisor Toren Stanton said the township is waiting on scheduling details from the county.
Stanton also raised a problem with a driveway sealcoating contract: the township paid a downpayment in 2024 but the contractor has not completed the work or provided a date. Stanton said he has reached out to the contractor and will seek other businesses if the contractor does not provide a date. He said dust-control application likewise has no definitive date because the county plans to complete grading first.
Trustee Brott relayed a resident complaint about water drainage at the ditch bank at the end of Thrams Road near Girard Road and asked that the township review the issue. The board did not take formal action on these items at the meeting but recorded the concerns and the supervisor’s plan to follow up.
